Infection Control Committee ,GHMCT organized a class on Infection control with prior permission from superintendent of Hospital, Dr.Nisha .Welcome speech was delivered by Dr.Seena.R.V ,Infection control officer.
The class was taken in a very vivid and interactive manner by Sr.Mahima who is well experienced as Infection control Link Nurse in a reputed institution , RCC. Focus was given on Hand washing techniques, Biomedical waste management and Sterilization techniques. Duties of nurses and nursing assistants was well explained. The 3 hour session was very useful and gave many new insights about measures for infection control in our hospital. Vote of thanks was delivered by Nursing Superintendent, Sr.Sindhu.
