The Department of Practice of Medicine with Essentials of Pharmacology, Government Homoeopathic Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, organized an academic session on 'Auxiliary Measures with Nutritional Supplements' on 24 June 2026 in the Clinical Skill Lab. Welcome speech was delivered by Dr G Satheesh. The session was delivered by Dr. Fathima Beegum A., Ph.D., Pharmacologist & Research Consultant. The resource person highlighted the scientific basis, rational use, indications, and clinical relevance of nutritional supplements as supportive measures in patient care. The interactive session encouraged active participation from the audience through discussions and question-answer sessions. The programme was well received and proved beneficial in enhancing the knowledge of students and faculty regarding evidence-based nutritional supplementation.
